Nothing suggests a stamp of approval more than having a high-profile Cabinet Minister address an audience at one of your events.
This year’s CDN Women in the IT Channel Recognition Luncheon has earned that approval with the announcement that the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business and Export Promotion, will speak at the August. 22 event.
Minister Ng is known as a tireless worker on behalf of women, technology innovation and small business. The event theme, #fearless, works with the entrepreneurialism and foresight she has shown while facilitated the Government’s commitment to invest in Canadian ideas and innovators through projects such as VentureLabs.
The keynote speaker for the day will be CBC tech and culture guru Nora Young. Deanna Thomson, Dell EMC’s former Channel Chief will be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Four women will be inducted in the Women in the IT Channel Hall of Fame and CDN will recognize a Rising Star and a Mentor of the Year.
The luncheon will be held at the beautiful Credit Valley Golf and Country Club.
